Joshoo (AKA Josh Shpak) works at the intersection of atmosphere, momentum, and sound — composing music that breathes, shifts, and inhabits space.
He releases under multiple names as a matter of honesty: Joshoo for songwriting exploration, Willowcrest Healing and Light Center for instrumental and ambient composition, and his given name for score work. Each project a different room in the same house.
A student of the late Clark Terry and a four-time ASCAP Composition Award recipient, his collaborations include Peter Gabriel, The 1975, Laufey, Ruel, Role Model, and Josh Groban. His work has appeared on Netflix, Hulu, and Apple TV, in independent film, and in a global campaign for Apple.
The question underneath all of it: how can we find connection?
